WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States is unaware and cannot confirm if an American citizen was stabbed to death in Israel on Tuesday, US State Department spokesperson John Kirby told reporters.
Earlier on Tuesday, an American tourist was reportedly killed while 10 other people were injured during a stabbing spree by a Palestinian, the Jerusalem Post reported.
“I haven’t seen a report that an American citizen was stabbed but… we have seen reports of several attacks today in Israel and Jerusalem,” Kirby stated. “We condemn these outrageous attacks in the strongest possible terms, there is no justification for terrorism.”
