Explosive Device Found in Belfast - Reports

The Northern Ireland's media reported that local law enforcement found on Saturday an explosive device in the western part of Belfast. The incident was resulted in evacuation of some people living nearby.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Police found on Saturday an explosive device in Northern Ireland's capital of Belfast, local media reported.

According to BBC, police officers found a bomb during a security alert in the western part of Belfast.

The broadcaster added that a number of people were evacuated from their homes, following a discovery a suspicious object.

On Friday morning, a car bomb detonated in Belfast, when the 52-years-old prison officer was driving the van through the eastern part of the city.
