WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Gallup survey gave Clinton a "net favorable score" of 55 percent, a 10 point rise from her low score in late January-early February, which coincided with her landslide loss to Sanders in the US state of New Hampshire.

"Clinton has reclaimed her position as the best liked presidential candidate among Democrats and independents who lean Democratic, a sign that her candidacy is recovering a key advantage she recently surrendered to [her] rival," Gallup said in a press release accompanying the poll.

In contrast, Sanders net favorable score during the past week was 44 percent.

On Saturday, the two candidates will face off again as the US state of South Carolina holds its primary.
