MOSCOW (Sputnik) A military unit will be stationed in the Russian Arctic village of Anderma on the Kara Sea by 2020, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Army General Dmitry Bulgakov said Friday.

“The plan of development up to 2020 foresees the deployment of troops in Anderma, and just this morning there was an announcement by the Defense Ministry on this topic because everything has been reviewed and the village will work in practically the same regime as it did in Soviet times,” Bulgakov said.
