Erdogan's Nightmare of United Kurdistan Fuels Turkey's 'Misguided Policies'
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Turkey should stop shelling the positions of the Kurds in Syria in light of the US-Russian plan for cessation of hostilities announced earlier on Monday, US State Department’s Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner told reporters.

“We have already urged Turkey to stop its shelling. Again, we would like [to reaffirm] that the cessation of hostilities is the cessation of all hostilities. We said it last week as well, and our policy has not changed,” Toner said.

As part of the cessation of hostilities, Toner added, it is crucial that all groups within Syria work together and live up to their obligations.
