A poster illegally placed at a bus stop in the Russian capital depicts US President Barack Obama smoking a cigarette.

The poster was apparently supposed to be a joke and had an inscription comparing the bad habit with the policies of US President Barack Obama.

It still remains unknown who put up the poster. The perpetrators are said to have opened the glass at the bus stop, removed the original ad and replaced it with the controversial ad.

A spokesman for the Moscow department of media and advertising Konstantin Gorokhov stated that the poster will be removed shortly from the Moscow bus stop.

The Russian companies, Gallery Service and Mosgortrans, which operate public transportation stops in the city are reportedly planning to demand an investigation and file a lawsuit on charges of hooliganism.
