The Turkish Armed Forces have been shelling Kurds' positions in Syria for a third day in a row.

On Sunday, NTV channel reported citing a military source that Turkish forces have continued to shell YPG positions in Syria killing two Kurdish fighters.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claimed that Turkish forces had shelled Kurds' positions in northern Syria as a "retaliatory measure."

"We shall counter this aggression with our allies, we shall staunchly oppose it in order to protect our sovereignty. we believe that any intervention of the armed forces should be coordinated with the Syrian government. There is no humanitarian crisis in areas controlled by the Syrian government, all problems exist only in regions controlled by terrorists, the Syrian ambassador said.

"There are no humanitarian tragedies in territories controlled by our government forces…but in areas where terrorists are active there are problems with food deliveries," Haddad said.

The ambassador added that humanitarian cargo deliveries are often intercepted by terrorists to "deliberately spread hunger among the population."
