MUNICH (Sputnik) – Russia-US military contacts in Syria will play a key role for the implementation of the UN Security Council's resolution on Syria settlement, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the Munich Security Conference Saturday.
"I will underline that maintaining regular Russian-US military contacts will play a key role. Regular, that is, and not us searching for them and agreeing on some occasional contact, but regular contacts, all the time, every day. And, of course, any preconditions to start negotiations on political settlement between the Syrian government and opposition are inadmissible," Medvedev said.
