Russia is adamant to provide any information for a high-quality investigation of 2014 Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Saturday.

MUNICH (Sputnik) – Russia is ready to provide any information for a high-quality investigation into the 2014 crash of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Saturday.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Medvedev called for a comprehensive investigation into the incident, stressing that Russia was just as interested in it as the countries whose citizens died in the crash.

"Russia is ready to provide all information which is needed to conduct a quality investigation," Medvedev said.

Russia Ready to Present Radar Data on MH17 Flight Again if Needed
Flight MH17 was downed en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk on July 17, 2014, killing all 298 people on board. Kiev and eastern Ukrainian militias have traded blame for downing the aircraft.

Dutch investigators said in last October's report that the airliner appeared to have been downed using a Russia-produced Buk surface-to-air missile system. It did not identify the exact location from where the missile was fired.

Journalists attend a news conference, organized by officials of Russian missile manufacturer Almaz-Antey and dedicated to the results of its investigation into Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine, in Moscow, Russia, October 13, 2015 - Sputnik International
MH17 Crash: DSB's Report Does Not Meet International Standard of Evidence
New facts obtained by Russian experts through an additional study confirm that some of the findings in the final Dutch report on the MH17 crash in Ukraine were unsubstantiated and inaccurate.

In a separate probe into the crash, Russian arms manufacturer Almaz-Antey said the missile had exploded near the left side of the ill-fated aircraft. Almaz-Antey considered this to be proof that the missile could only be a missile from a Buk system launched from the region of Zaroshchenske, controlled by Kiev forces at the time of the incident.
