DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — On Friday, three Syrian media workers were injured in northern Aleppo as a result of shelling carried out by terrorists.
"Yousef was killed last night, when covering operations of assault groups in the Rityan town. During the battle, several bullets from an assault rifle were shot at him," the source said.
Syria has been mired in a civil war since 2011, with the country’s government fighting against multiple opposition factions and extremist groups.
