Another four suspects allegedly linked to the terror group were detained during an operation in the province of Konya in central Turkey.
According to the media outlet, the suspected Daesh members are being investigated for providing the group with logistical support and recruiting new members.
An explosion in Istanbul’s historical center claimed the lives of at least 10 people and injured at least 15 others. Most of the victims of the attack were German nationals.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the incident a terrorist act, adding that it was perpetrated by a Syrian suicide bomber, while Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claimed that the attack was linked to Daesh terrorist group.
