"The politicians can pretend it is something else but Donald Trump calls it radical Islamic terrorism," the video said over images that showed a Muslim couple responsible for the deaths of 14 people in the December 2 shooting in San Bernardino, California.
The real-estate tycoon also promised to impose a temporary shutdown on Muslims entering the United States and stop illegal immigration by building a fence on the southern border with Mexico.
The TV ad will air in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire starting on Tuesday. The TV campaign will cost the billionaire businessman at least $2 million a week.
