Online media linked to the terrorist group Daesh released photos showing the use of US-made TOW anti-tank missiles, in another case of arms supplies meant for "moderate" rebels ending up in the hands of Daesh.

Social media accounts linked to Daesh released photos, which were later reposted by various outlets and observers, of the group's fighters using US-made TOW anti-tank missiles in Syria's Aleppo province.

According to the release, the missiles being used are located north of Kweires Airbase, which was recently liberated from Daesh by the Syrian Army. The Daesh-held area in that part of Syria is adjacent to the Turkish border.

The source of the US-made arms is unknown, although previous reports have indicated links to both Turkey and US-backed rebels for arms procurement.

A former member of Daesh recently told Sputnik Turkey that he engaged in basic training and target practice for the group while inside Turkish territory.
