MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia is ready to create additional conditions for the execution of Russian-Indian projects, Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Likhachev said Thursday.
“I would like to stress that… Russia is ready to create additional conditions for Indian business in specific projects, for the implementation of bilateral projects. And we, of course, expect the same approach to and treatment of Russian companies working in India,” Likhachev said at a meeting of representatives of Russian and Indian companies.
“The talks should begin with business,” he concluded.
On Wednesday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow for a two-day visit to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on a range of bilateral issues, including transport, trade, energy, and the economy. The meeting is expected to result in the signing of a number of documents aimed at increasing trade and economic cooperation between the sides.
