Subscribe
As the Russian Air Force intensifies airstrikes on Daesh (also known as ISIL/the Islamic State) positions, bomber aircraft took off throughout the day from Hmeymim Air Base in Syria’s Latakia.

Fighter jets include models like the supersonic Sukhoi Su-24s, Su-25s and Su-34s, among others.

Since the beginning of the Russian military campaign in Syria, Moscow’s combat aircraft have carried out over 4,200 missions, destroying more than 1,200 fuel trucks carrying oil, the main component in the extremist group’s income.
