Merkel, Obama, Erdogan ‘Liars of the Year’ - Poll
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Obama’s job performance rating sunk to 43 percent, the lowest point reached in more than a year, the poll revealed on Monday.

Forty percent of Americans ranked national security and terrorism as top priorities, a 19 point jump since April, the poll found.

Poll respondents cited the terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino as the most important or defining news events in 2015.

Fifty-five percent of those surveyed said they are more worried the United States will not go far enough to monitor terrorists than they are about the US government violating citizens’ rights and liberties.

Seventy percent of the polled said the United States is headed in the wrong direction, the highest level of since August 2014.
