The anticipated climate deal paves a major step toward a greener planet.

PARIS (Sputnik), Daria Chernyshova – The anticipated climate deal paves a major step toward a greener planet, the chief executive and founder of the French Powi Dian energy solutions company told Sputnik on Saturday.

"If they sign a document as it is now, this will be a major step for a greener planet," Pierre Langer said as nearly 200 negotiators are in the last hours of finalizing the climate deal.

Host of the Paris climate change talks and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius claimed the deal would limit global warming "well below" 2 degrees Celsius (35.6 degrees Fahrenheit), with the ambitious aim of limiting world temperatures to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

"Of course everything is not finished and you will have politicians continue to work more than that. And public opinions will play a role on having this agreement being put in place and improved in future," Langer stressed.

He pointed toward the "degree of selfishness" and the difference of needs and problems among the developed and developing nations making it nearly impossible to reaching a "very ambitious, very binding" pact.

Powi Dian develops, installs and maintains autonomous non-polluting and cost-effective stations providing up to 200 kilowatts of energy, according to the company's websites.
