Syrian Opposition Meeting in Riyadh Can be Moved to December 10

An upcoming conference in Riyadh to bring together Syrian opposition groups could be moved to December 10, two days later than expected, a source familiar with the situation told Sputnik Sunday.

CAIRO (Sputnik) – On Friday, Badr Jamous, a member of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces, told Sputnik that the three-day conference will kick off in the Saudi capital on December 8.

“At the moment, only names of a hundred conference participants have been agreed on. The final lists are still being composed,” the source said, explaining the reason behind the Riyadh meeting's possible postponement.
