FBI Releases ‘Dozen Half’ Grenades in Face Off With Detroit Gunman

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Detroit, Michigan has discharged more than 12 grenades in a confrontation with an armed murder suspect, according to local media reports on Friday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Grand Rapids resident Jermaine Cooper is being sought in connection with the homicide of Melissa Moore, a woman from Grand Rapids suburb Holland, The Detroit Free Press reported. Moore, who had a child with Cooper, was shot execution style, media reports added.

The FBI had pushed Cooper to surrender telling him that his three children were worried about him. They told Cooper he could end it in peace before sounds of bangs and glass breaking took place media reports explained.

Thus far, many of the windows in Cooper’s house are blown out, and FBI are in camouflage gear with a military-style vehicle in front if the house. Cooper’s mother and his kids are on the way to the house, media reports said.
