The statement added that the detained Moroccan is broadly accused of spreading 'radical' ideas among people he communicated with and recruiting those willing to go to Syria.

Daesh is a violent extremist group that controls large areas of Syria and Iraq. It is notorious for its many human rights atrocities. Recruiting followers online, the religious fundamentalist group has been decreed a terrorist organization in many nations, including Russia and the United States, and membership or association with the group or their affiliates is against the law.
