Lamborghini Huracan Sets New ½ Mile World Record

A Lamborgini Huracan supercar has set the new world record in drag-racing. At a distance of ½ mile (804 meters) the furious car accelerated from 0 to 384 kmh.

The car was equipped a twin-turbo engine delivering 2,000 hp and a racing-like sequential gearbox because its stock 7-speed transmission could not cope with the output which was increased fourfold.

The previous record was also set on a Lamborghini supercar in August 2015. Then, a Lamborghini Gallardo reached a speed of 349.4 kmh.
