Brussels Under Threat of Paris-Style Series of Bloody Attacks - Belgian PM
BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – According to Le Soir daily, the explosives are of the same type as those used in the Paris attacks earlier this month.

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said Saturday that the country's authorities had received information about the possibility of multiple terror attacks resembling those in Paris.

Earlier in the day, the authorities raised the terror alert level in Brussels to level 4, the highest possible.

On November 13, terrorist attacks in seven places across Paris killed about 130 people. The attacks were performed by several terrorists, at least four of whom are allegedly Belgian residents.

Following the attacks in the French capital, Belgian police have carried out a series of anti-terrorist operations detaining a number of people in Brussels' district of Molenbeek, suspected of links to the Paris attacks.
