The Belgian capital has emerged as one of the vilest terrorist nests in the entire continent, with the Molenbeek neighborhood becoming synonymous with jihad. Numerous raids have been carried out there since the Friday the 13th tragedy, and next door in France, authorities finally tracked down some of the culprits in the Parisian suburb of Saint Denis.
At the moment, it seems as though all of the terrorists were European citizens, although at least two of them are suspected of having infiltrated Europe after receiving training in Syria by posing as refugees.
Timofei Bordachev, Director of Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS) at the Higher School of Economics (studio guest); James Drew, Production Editor of the EU Reporter (from Brussels); Anne Nivat, French prominent author (from Paris); and Gearoid O'Colmain, Irish independent analyst (from Paris) commented on the issue.
