MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the signing of an agreement with Kazakhstan to control the availability and use of military goods, a document published on a government legal portal Monday stated.

"The Russian Government shall sign the agreement after completion of negotiations with Kazakhstan," the document stated, without providing further details.

The agreement pertains to goods delivered as part of a 2013 Russian-Kazakh military-technical cooperation agreement.

Russia and Kazakhstan are two members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a six-country military alliance established in 1992. Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are the other founding members, and Afghanistan and Serbia are observer states.
