According to DoD spokesperson Peter Cook, the US does not see any opportunity to coordinate with Russia in anti-ISIL efforts.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States will not coordinate efforts with Russia to fight the Islamic State in Syria, despite reports that the terrorist group was involved in the A321 crash in Egypt, US Department of Defense spokesperson Peter Cook stated on Tuesday.

"We have obviously seen what’s happened with the crash… but at this point we don’t see an opportunity to coordinate and collaborate with the Russians in the ISIL [Islamic State] fight," Cook said when asked if the United States will coordinate its activities in Syria with Russia amid reports the Islamic State was behind the crash.
