Croatians Set to Vote Sunday in Unpredictable Parliamentary Election
BELGRADE (Sputnik) — With only 15 percent of ballots counted, the ruling center-left Social Democratic (SDP) party looks set to take 52 seats. More comprehensive results are expected to be published in the coming hours.

Croatians went to the polls on Sunday to vote in an unpredictable parliamentary election. A total of 2,311 candidates from 166 parties are vying for mandates in the 151-seat Croatian parliament.

The two key rivals – Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic’s SDP and HDZ of former Defense Minister Tomislav Karamarko – have been running neck-and-neck.
