MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi agreed in a phone call on Friday to continue joint efforts aimed at ensuring flight safety and security of Russian citizens in Egypt, the Kremlin press service said.

"In line with common understanding of the need to ensure the highest security standards for Russian citizens in Egypt, as well as in the light of Russia's current suspension of flights to and from Egypt, the heads of state agreed to instruct the relevant federal security bodies and aviation authorities of the two countries to continue coordination of their actions," the press service said in a statement.
