Ten Candidates, Zero New Ideas - Clinton on Republican Presidential Debate
NEW YORK (Sputnik) — Hillary Clinton has the right vision and experience to become the next president of the United States, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said in an interview on Friday.

"The candidate who I believe can fundamentally address income inequality effectively, who has the right vision and the right experience to get the job done, is Hillary Clinton," de Blasio said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program.

De Blasio noted that Hillary’s platform mirror’s his own and they share many progressive ideas.

"She has a history of fighting on the same issue that convinces me," de Blasio pointed out. "Hillary Clinton knows how to do it, will get it done and has a progressive platform that speaks to all we need."

De Blasio was Clinton’s campaign manager during her successful run for the US Senate in 2000.

In April, de Blasio had told reporters he would hold off on endorsing Clinton due to her eight-year absence from public office and because Clinton was yet to articulate what she stands for.

The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2016.
