Kerry Says Vienna Meeting on Syria 'Very Constructive'

US State Secretary John Kerry said that the Vienna meeting on Syria of top diplomats from the United States, Russia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and France was "very constructive."

VIENNA (Sputnik) — US State Secretary John Kerry described the multilateral meeting in Vienna on Friday on how to end the four-year Syrian civil war as "very constructive."

The meeting, which hosted top diplomats from the United States, Russia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and France, continued in the Austrian capital for seven hours.

"Very, very constructive," Kerry said answering a reporter's question upon leaving the negotiations room.
