Russia's and Turkish presidents held a phone conversation on the results of Bashar Assad’s visit to Moscow.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Turkish President Recip Tayyip Erdogan by phone the situation in Syria and informed him of Tuesday evening’s meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

“The situation in Syria was discussed and the head of the Russian state informed his Turkish colleague of the results of Syrian President Assad’s visit to Moscow yesterday,” Peskov said.
