Sputnik thought its readers might want to know a little bit more about these political candidates, besides the fact that they're all incredibly attractive human beings. Who are these women and do they have equally attractive educational backgrounds and work experience to lead their country?
Alyona Kosheleva
Kosheleva managed to land a lawmaker's seat in the Verkhovna Rada as a member of Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party. The young lady not only became the youngest lawmaker in the parliament, but most importantly, at least for her, the most "glamourous" one. During her first day at the parliament Kosheleva became known for her "golden" iPhone, expensive fur coat and very poor knowledge of Ukraine's constitution.
Zlata Ognevich
Ognevich, known primarily for representing Ukraine in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, is another representative of Lyashko's Radical Party in the Verkhovna Rada. In the parliament, Ognevich works on issues of art, cultural policy and spirituality.
Yulia Marushevska
Marushevska became famous after appearing in a series of short videos, titled "I Am a Ukrainian," which went viral in February 2014 during the Maidan protests in Kiev. Since then the 26-year-old student at Taras Shevchenko University in Kiev joined the team of Odessa governor Mikheil Saakashvili, and has officially taken over as the head of Odessa's Customs office on October 19. It seems like now along with the former President of Georgia, Marushevska will be fighting multiple layers of corruption in her native region.
Valeria Egorova
Internet users nicknamed the young woman from Lyashko's party as a "Radical Woman," for her political ambitions and voluptuous physical appearance. Egorova currently studies law at the Dnepropetrovsk University and is the chairman of public organization Youth Perspective.
Anna Pencheva
Mikheil Saakashvili appointed Pencheva as the spokesperson of the Odessa Region Department of Internal Affairs in September. The 28-year old young woman is a former model, known for her naked photo shoot for the Men's Maxim magazine. Pencheva holds a degree in tourism and worked as a host on the TV Channel "Odessa Fashion Channel."
