DONETSK (Sputnik) — The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in eastern Ukraine said Monday it had introduced sanctions against Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, as well as businessman and presidential administration head Boris Lozhkin, and oligarchs Ihor Kolomoyskyi and Serhiy Kurchenko.

The sanctions are being imposed due to "the actions of individuals and entities" related to the four, "aimed at the organization and financing of aggressive military action against the Donetsk People's Republic, the destabilization of the political and socio-economic situation in the republic," according to an order by DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko.
