Russia, Turkey Exchange Information on Ankara Bombing Investigation
Cooperation on the terrorist attack between the law enforcement of Russia and Turkey is underway. The information exchange on explosive devices that were produced using TNT with striking elements in the form of metal balls is ongoing, according to a source in the Russian embassy in Ankara.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian and Turkish law enforcement are exchanging information on investigating a double suicide bombing in Ankara, a source in the Russian embassy in Ankara said Tuesday.
On Saturday, a two suicide bombers killed at least 97 people and injured some 500 ahead of a peaceful anti-war rally to protest increasing violence in the Turkey-Kurdish conflict.

"Cooperation on the terrorist attack between the law enforcement of Russia and Turkey is underway. The information exchange on explosive devices that were produced using TNT with striking elements in the form of metal balls is ongoing," the source told RIA Novosti.
No organization has yet claimed responsibility for the deadly bombings. The investigation considers the Islamic State (ISIL) militant group to be the prime suspect in the case, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told Turkey's NTV television.
Ankara launched in July an anti-ISIL operation in northern Syria bordering Turkey following a series of attacks on Turkish soil.
