The Normandy format dialogue will be continued, in particular, a ministerial meeting is scheduled for November, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — This round of Normandy Format talks in Paris lasted for about five hours. A previous meeting of the Normandy Quartet leaders took place in Minsk on February 11-12 and resulted in a batch of peace accords that laid out steps for ending the war in eastern Ukraine.

"The dialogue will continue. There will be a meeting of foreign ministers in November, besides the contacts between the presidential aids on foreign affairs take place on almost a daily basis. This dialogue will continue and intensify," Peskov told reporters.

Russia Views 'Normandy Four' Summit in Paris as Substantial

Russia regards the summit of the Normandy Quartet on Ukrainian reconciliation and bilateral meetings of Russian, French, German and Ukrainian leaders in Paris as substantial,  Peskov added.

"Both bilateral meetings and [the meeting of] the 'Normandy Four' were very substantial," Peskov told journalists.
