DUSHANBE (Sputnik) — Tajik Prosecutor General's Office has earlier accused the opposition party of an attempt to carry out a military coup. The party's chairman, Muhiddin Kabiri has been implicated in the plot, together with former deputy defense minister Abdukhalim Nazarzoda.

At least 13 senior IRPT members were arrested in Dushanbe on September 16 in connection with the attempted coup.
