Child Dies Amid Explosion During Tank Biathlon in Donetsk Republic

A child died after an unidentified device had exploded on the ground in Torez, a region in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), where a tank biathlon was being held.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Ukrainian Minister of Emergency Situations added that the incident was considered a terrorist attack, and that the circumstances and the suspects were currently being investigated.

“On Thursday, September 24, an unknown device exploded on the target range in Torez during a competition between tank crews on the showground. The explosion killed a child, others were wounded,” a representative from the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
