MOSCOW (Sputnik) — “Sergei Yevgenyevich [Naryshkin] may head the delegation. The issue of his participation in the session is currently being worked on,” the source told RIA Novosti.

In early July, Finland denied entry visas to several Russian lawmakers, who were invited to participate in a session of the OSCE PA being held in the country. Naryshkin, blacklisted by the European Union over accusations of involvement in the Ukrainian crisis, was among those refused entry.

The Russian delegation did not participate in the Finland session in protest at the decision.

The European Union, along with the United States and their allies, imposed a series of restrictive measures on Russia due to Moscow’s alleged involvement in in the Ukrainian crisis. Russia firmly denies the allegations.
