Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the State Duma Aleksei Pushkov commented on the upcoming presidential elections in the United States saying that Kiev authorities "have much to worry about."

US presidential election will play a more important role for the Kiev authorities, than for Americans, Aleksey Pushkov said.

"US elections are much more important for the Kiev regime than for the United States. That's where the real ruler of Ukraine is defined! There is much to worry about," he posted on his Twitter.

The United States' presidential election will be held in November 2016. Most candidates are represented by two major US political parties — Democrats and Republicans.

The most popular candidates from the Democratic Party are Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Among candidates of the Republican Party are brother of former US president George W. Bush — Jeb Bush, senators Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham as well as world-famous US billionaire Donald Trump.
