IMF Calls on Kiev, Creditors to Continue Talks on Ukraine Debt
“The employers are violating their workers’ rights by taking advantage of the military situation in the east,” Pavlo Rozenko told the Kiev-based Channel 5 TV channel.

Rozenko said the current wage arrears now stood at a whopping 2 billion hryvnias.

Ukraine has long been teetering on the brink of a default with the national currency a whole three times and the state debt amounting to $68 billion, including around $40 billion owned to foreign lenders.

The London-based Daily Telegraph newspaper earlier warned that if the impasse over Ukraine’s mounting debt is not resolved the ordinary Ukrainians may find themselves four times poorer than they are now.
