WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — United Airlines has drawn a lot of media attention lately following a number of incidents with its planes. On July 8, US Federal Aviation Administration grounded all United Airlines and its sub carriers’ domestic flights because of an automation issue.
The airplane was carrying 265 passengers and 14 crew members, no injuries have been reported.
"I understand there may have been a possible electrical issue with a seat onboard," United Airlines spokesperson Jennifer Dohm was quoted as saying by NBC News on Friday.
She added that the flight landed safely and a maintenance team was reviewing the aircraft, according to the media outlet.
