According to a military source, military aircraft has crashed into a residential area near the northwestern Syrian city of Jericho in the Idlib Governorate killing at least 25 people.

Pentagon Authorizes Air Support for US-Backed Forces in Syria
DAMASCUS (Sputnik) – A military aircraft has crashed into a residential area near the northwestern Syrian city of Jericho in the Idlib Governorate killing at least 25 people, a military source told Sputnik on Monday.

“A military aircraft crashed near the city of Jericho…the fate of the crew is still unknown,” the military source said.

Syrian media have reported at least 25 people were killed and dozens have been injured from the crash.
