The next few months may see Twitter add a feature which will allow users to edit their tweets instead of having to delete before reposting them; the decision was suggested by American model and actress Kim Kardashian, who emailed Twitter to request the relevant improvement to the micro-blogging website, news reports said.

Earlier this week, Kardashian, who has a whopping 33.8 million Twitter followers, revealed in a tweet that she had contacted the social media website site to request the much-needed feature.

It seems that she was very much impressed by the flow of criticism that she received after misspelling world-famous designer Giorgio Armani's name in a tweet last month.

Needless to say, Kardashian's offer garnered thousands of retweets, favorites and replies from her supporters all across the globe.

For his part, Twitter co-founder and interim chief executive Jack Dorsey was quick to respond to Kardashian's tweet, touting it as "great idea."

In 2010, Kardashian was reported to be the highest-paid reality television personality, with estimated earnings standing at 6 million dollars at the time.

As of May 2014, the 34-year-old's personal fortune is estimated to be worth about 45 million dollars. She is the 14th most followed person in Twitter.
