It is just a matter of time before the situation in Ukraine escalates. Poroshenko has to confront his own government, fight against militias in eastern Ukraine and radical extremist groups in the west of the country. The current Ukrainian President does not seem ready for such a fight, Contra Magazin wrote.

Before the coup, Ukraine, led by the former and legitimate president Viktor Yanukovych, was a haven of peace and joy, compared with the current situation, when the country is practically facing decay, the German Contra Magazin reported.

Maidan activists certainly expected neither such an outcome, nor the emergence of putschists and murderers from Right Sector, which are seeking to use the chaos for their own purposes, the magazine reported.

The right-wing extremist Nazis are a huge problem for Poroshenko. Yatsenyuk needed them to fight militias in eastern Ukraine, but they got out of hand and are seeking to get rid of the current government.

The US, EU and “their parasitic institutions” managed to gain a foothold in Ukraine and contribute to the worsening of the situation. In order to achieve their goals, they are ready to use any means necessary, even at the cost of numerous deaths of innocent people. The US and EU literally wade through slaughter when it comes to expansion of their influence and hegemony, the article said.

The current political constellation of Ukrainian leadership is also far from ideal. Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk are like cat and dog. They can’t do without each other but if they had the opportunity they would get rid of each other completely.

Thus, Poroshenko has to confront his own government, militias in eastern Ukraine and neo-Nazis in the Western parts of the country at the same time.

Who the winner of this fight will be depends on the support of the West. Yatsenyuk as "the man of Americans" has more advantages. The imminent resignation of Poroshenko is, therefore, a very likely option, the magazine wrote.
