The helicopter was on its way to help a ten-year old boy with a head injury when it crashed, according to the country’s health ministry. The four killed were the pilot, two rescue workers, and a doctor.
Local media report that the crash happened when the helicopter’s propeller became entangled with an electrical wire. The accident sent the chopper crashing near the Hrabusice village in eastern Slovakia.
