10:05 GMT 10.07.2015 (Updated: 12:48 GMT 10.07.2015) An unknown gunman opened fire in the city of Ansbach in southern Germany, according to DPA news agency.
A number of people are thought to have been killed in the shooting, police say. A woman and a cyclist died after having been shot from the car, the police confirm.
Police in the nearby town said that authorities were searching for a silver Mercedes convertible and warned residents that the driver might still be armed.
The shooter had been arrested at a gas station in Bad Windsheim, according to the police.
