WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In July 1995, more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed in Srebrenica after the city was taken by units of the Army of Republika Srpska.
“The Honorable William J. Clinton, Former President of the United States, will lead the delegation,” the release stated on Wednesday.
The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the International Court of Justice has classified the massacre in Srebrenica as genocide.
Bosnian Serbs as well as Serbia do not deny the killings took place, but dispute the acts were genocide.
