Twin Blasts Rip Through Colombian Capital, Ten Injured

At least ten people were injured in two explosions in the Colombian capital of Bogota on Thursday afternoon, according to local media reports.

Two blasts have reportedly hit the Colombian capital Bogota, injuring at least ten people.  

Bogota's Metropolitan Police Director Humberto Guatibonza said that police have opened an investigation into the explosions that he said occurred almost simultaneously in two different buildings of the same Porvenir pension fund.

Colombian Defense Minister Luis Carlos Villegas, for his part, has described the explosions as "terrorist acts".
