Egyptian Prosecutor General Injured in Explosion in Cairo

CAIRO (Sputnik) — Egypt's Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat died from his injuries after a bomb attack earlier on Monday, Ahram Online reported citing medical sources.

Egyptian media reported earlier in the day an explosion in the Heliopolis region of Cairo, targeting the prosecutor's motorcade.
