SpaceX Dragon Cargo Ship Explodes 3 Minutes After Launch
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket with a Dragon cargo ship carrying supplies to the International Space Station (ISS) exploded just three minutes after it had been launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk said there was an overpressure in the liquid oxygen tank of the Falcon 9 rocket.

“We are disappointed in the loss of the latest SpaceX cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. However, the astronauts are safe aboard the station and have sufficient supplies for the next several months," Bolden said in a statement published on the NASA website.

He added that NASA would work closely with SpaceX to investigate the incident.
