Ten people killed in the Tunisian beach massacre have been identified, Tunisian Health Ministry’s forensic chief said Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Eight of those identified are Britons, one is Belgian and one is German, the health authority told Tunisia’s radio station Mosaique FM.

A total of 40 people fell victim to Friday’s spree shooting in the northeastern Tunisian resort town of Sousse. A Belgian woman succumbed to wounds on Saturday morning, according to Belgium’s Foreign Ministry.

Around 40 people were injured in the attack, including Tunisians, French, as well as one Russian and one Ukrainian. The forensic chief told the radio that five people had been discharged from hospital, the "rest are receiving medical assistance, including psychological help."

UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said earlier that at least five British nationals had died in the shooting, and warned that their number was likely to rise.
